A sedentary lifestyle is a lifestyle with or without irregular physical activity. A person who lives a sedentary lifestyle is colloquially known as sluggish or lazy. They are commonly found in developed and developing countries. Sedentary people have little or no vigorous physical activity. They generally engage in activities such as reading, sitting while watching TV, playing video games and using computers. Sedentary lifestyle is among the preventable causes of death. Screen time; It is when a person watches the screen of a computer, television, or mobile device. Excessive screen time causes adverse health consequences. [1] [2] [3] [4]
