G h o s t l y. Posted December 17, 2020 Posted December 17, 2020 It is common for some luxury brands to make unique creations from time to time, vehicles configured exclusively for a customer who is willing to pay their high price. They are the well-known one-off and the second Lamborghini has just been presented. After seeing the outstanding SC18 a couple of years ago, now an impressive Lamborghini SC20 arrives to delight the public. A specimen without a roof approved for driving on the open road that was designed by the Centro Stile in Sant'Agata Bolognese. This model has been created following the wishes of a lucky customer, who wanted a convertible that had features of other mythicals such as the Aventador J or the Venom Roadster. Taking the basis of the Lamborghini Aventador, it was decided to use a new carbon fiber body in which the aerodynamics were improved so that the air did not reach the cabin. It also includes solutions such as a front splitter framed by two fins, air intakes similar to those of the Huracán GT3 EVO and some solutions adopted by the recently launched Lamborghini Essenza SCV12. It stands out that this unique Lamborghini SC20 that will be made has a striking configuration thanks to the base color Bianco Fu and the details in Blu Cepheus. Inside, the colors are repeated (although alternating the tones Nero Cosmus and Bianco Leda), in addition to the visible carbon fiber in areas such as the door panels or the center console. This material is also used in the seat shells, which receive an Alcantara and leather upholstery. Note that the door handles are made of solid aluminum or that the air vents are made using 3D printing. What was clear is that it would use the legendary 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine that the Italian brand has among its ranks. In the Lamborghini SC20 it develops a power of 770 hp and 720 Nm of torque, in addition to being linked to a seven-speed ISR gearbox. It features an all-wheel drive system with an electronic central differential and is fitted with Pirelli PZero Corsa tires as standard on the 20-inch front and 21-inch rear single-nut aluminum wheels. Its benefits are still a mystery and also the surely exorbitant price that the sole owner of this Lamborghini SC20 will have paid. Quote
