  4. Uedelhoven Studios is not yet a big name in the automotive industry, but the truth is that it is responsible for creating some prototypes for big brands like the AI: ME from Audi, or the Prophecy and the elegant 45 from Hyundai. The company began work on a prototype for Bugatti in 2015, a design exercise that may well have made its way onto the production line, but we have not been aware of its existence until now. This is the Bugatti Type 35 D. The main goal of the German designers was to keep the brand's most successful racing car recognizable, and unlike the Baby II, this Bugatti Type 35 D is a large-scale version of the aforementioned. The prototype has bare wheels and suspension elements in plain view, while the shape of the radiator grille remains recognizable as that of a Bugatti car, as is the blue paint. But the proportions are new: it is noticeably longer and lower than the sports car from which it takes inspiration. A look at the sides highlights many of the key differences between the vehicles of the 1920s and 30s and those of the modern era. For example, the wheels and tires are much wider, and various parts of the set are made of carbon fiber, such as the side skirts or the prominent rear diffuser that helps to stick the car to the asphalt. There is no way to be sure of the dimensions of the Bugatti Type 35 D, but it certainly looks a bit larger than the original car (3,680mm long and 1,320mm wide). Inside, both the driver and the passenger can enjoy a minimalist and luxurious space, in accordance with what is seen in other models of the brand such as the Veyron or the Chriron. The entire cabin was lined with premium cowhide, combining it with wood and more carbon fiber. Also, the pilot can look at a vintage-inspired instrument cluster, with round dials, and a digital gear indicator between the analog clock under the gear selector and the start / stop button on the two-seater. Now, what drives the prototype is a mystery. The original Bugatti Type 35 took in the Type 29's 2.0-liter inline eight-cylinder powerplant. With an overhead camshaft (SHOC), this engine could go up to 6,000 revolutions to deliver 90 hp. It's not a lot of power by today's standards, but it was unheard of for a car from the late 1920s. However, without being particularly powerful, it managed to win over 2,000 times thanks to its driveability and reliability. “This was a project started by Walter de Silva for Volkswagen Konzern Design in 2015 and built by Uedelhoven Studios. The Bugatti Type 35 D was purely a concept car to see what was possible as a brand. The team behind him consisted of several designers from the Volkswagen Group, including Alessandro Dambrosio, Stefan Sielaff, Tancredi de Aguilar and Klaus Süttner, ”a spokesperson for the German design studio told Autoblog. We have no doubt that we would be delighted to see him on the streets one day.
  5. Holland & Sherry, supplier of the highest quality fabrics in the world, has joined the launch of the new space of the Shirt Factory La Fábrica de Camisas is one of the benchmark brands in the world of men's shirts, with two key characteristics: quality and bespoke creations. This Spanish company, which began filming in 2012, has several franchises throughout the peninsula and now, has launched a new concept of luxury retail in Madrid, hand in hand with its founder, Emilio Colomina, and with a powerful ally , Holland & Sherry, a textile company that boasts of supplying the most luxurious and highest quality fabrics in the world. This new space is located in Madrid's Paseo de La Habana street, in the heart of the Chamartín neighborhood. In these 70 square meters we find an artisan tailoring area, a Gin Tonics Le Tribute bar and a seating area. And to celebrate the opening of this new space, Emilio Colomina wanted to organize a charity event to raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Organization of Spain. An appointment in which many well-known faces participated, such as Óscar Higares, the image of the firm, the influencers Salvador Godoy and Lucio Rivas or some names from the business world, such as the owners of the Larrumba group or the president of the Le Tribute gin brand. Of course, the actor Jorge Sanz, who has collaborated closely with the organization for several years, could not be absent. At the end of the party, an actor's tie was auctioned to raise funds. The amount of the winning bid -which reached a significant sum- was delivered to the Cystic Fibrosis Organization of Spain, through its president, Esther Sabando, and Jorge Sanz himself. Jorge Sanz, Emilio Colomina and Óscar Higares, in one of the moments of the auction.
  6. The southeast and east of England will move to Level 4 this Sunday, with the closure of non-essential stores. The authorities have indicated that they have already alerted WHO to the discovery of this new strain. London, the southeast and east of England will pass this Sunday to level 4, serious, of risk of covid-19, with the closure of non-essential stores, due to the rise in cases of the virus, the British Prime Minister announced this Saturday, Boris Johnson. The prime minister, who held a government meeting today, announced at a press conference that restrictions will also be strengthened during the Christmas period in these areas after detecting a new variant of covid-19. The authorities have indicated that they have already alerted the World Health Organization (WHO) about the discovery of this new strain, which spreads faster, although there is no evidence that it is more lethal or that it may have an impact on the effectiveness of the vaccines developed against covid-19, although this point is being urgently evaluated for confirmation. Stores that sell non-essential items, gyms, cinemas and hair salons will be forced to close for a period of two weeks, while the meeting of one person with another who does not live under the same roof will be allowed only outdoors. , has indicated the head of the Government. Also, at Christmas, those who live in this level 4 - serious - will not be able to meet others outside their family "bubble". The prime minister has asked people who are in the different levels of restrictions in which England is divided, depending on the number of cases, to stay in their places of residence while the po[CENSORED]tion must "carefully consider whether there is a need to travel abroad ". In addition, those who live in areas with level 4, similar to a confinement, will not be allowed to travel abroad, although with "limited exceptions", such as for work. The 'premier' has asked residents of level 4 to work from home, while he has modified the plans for the Christmas period by establishing that those who are in levels 1, 2 and 3 of restrictions - low, moderate and substantial - can only meet three groups of different roofs only on the 25th. Until today, these meetings were authorized between December 22 and 28, to give families flexibility. England's chief medical officer Chris Whitty said Saturday that following "preliminary data and the rapid increase in cases in the southeast (of England)," the New Emerging Respiratory Virus Threats (NERVTAG) advisory group English) considers "that the new strain spreads more rapidly." "We have alerted the WHO and we continue to analyze available data to improve our understanding" of the virus, he added. Faced with this situation, "it is now more vital than ever that the po[CENSORED]tion take measures in their area to reduce transmission," said the medical director.
  7. Times change in the automotive sector, so much so that they force some brands to do things that they did not even expect. The strict anti-pollution regulations in Europe and the large fines that those who exceed the famous 95 g / km of CO2 will receive bring us movements as curious as the one that has given life to the vehicle we tested this week. This is the Suzuki Across, a plug-in hybrid SUV that is so obvious from the car it came from that there is no point in hiding it. It is more than evident that the basis of this example is the Toyota RAV4, specifically the plug-in hybrid variant of the Japanese SUV. It is the first vehicle resulting from the collaboration between Toyota and Suzuki, an agreement that was signed just over a year ago. Broadly speaking, what Suzuki intends with the arrival of the Across in Europe is to reduce the average emissions in this region and thus lower the amount of the fine before the end of the year. The other model that will come out of this agreement is the Suzuki Swace, a copy of the Toyota Corolla Touring Sports. It must be taken into account that very few units will arrive in Spain initially and that their price will be quite high, but it will help the brand to continue with its electrification strategy. Oddly enough, 58% of the cars that Suzuki sells are electrified thanks to Mild Hybrid technology (examples Swift Sport). This is the first plug-in hybrid with a ZERO label and we have already been able to put it to the test. Exterior The truth is that the design is the point that has raised the most controversy in this Suzuki Across. Did it really have to be that much like the Toyota? The differences between the two are limited to the front, which in the Across has a sharper image thanks to the ragged headlights joined by a black opening and with the Suzuki logo in the center. Gain dynamism with a generously sized hexagonal grille and side air intakes that accommodate the fog lights. And from there, the rest is the same as on a RAV4. In the side view, aspects such as those characteristic square wheel arches stand out. Inside there are 19-inch wheels that, luckily, have a specific design in the Across. To enhance the crossover image, all the underbody is finished in black plastic. On the other hand, the roof bars are hidden in this example and are finished in black, the same happens with the molding that crosses the C-pillar and that gives it a distinctive touch.
  8. Pedro Sánchez's wife is one of the last infected by coronavirus, but without a doubt she will have no problems isolating herself completely in the Moncloa premises This weekend, in the midst of the government's COVID-19 information rollout, the president's communication cabinet announced that Begoña Gómez, Pedro Sánchez's wife, was joining the group of those infected with coronavirus, which today already exceeds 8,700 cases. A news that filled society with uncertainty that, after the positives of the ministers Irene Montero and Carolina Darias after their participation in the 8-M demonstration, wondered how long it would take for the president to also become infected. READ MORE. Begoña Gómez: we analyzed all of his steps (and who he was with) before the positive Well, if it is for Begoña we don't have to worry. Health protocols have advised that all infected people isolate themselves in a room in their home (ideally with their own bathroom) and maintain a safe distance from all inhabitants in order to stop the spread of the virus. The Sánchez Gómez are not going to have problems for it, and Pedro, if he complies with the regulations of his Government, he would not have to be in danger. To this day, the family remains secluded in the Palacio de la Moncloa, a neoclassical palace of more than 200 square meters of surface divided into as many rooms as you can imagine: eight bedrooms, nine bathrooms and three dressing rooms (areas that have constantly changing with the successive mandates), as well as the different offices and meeting rooms of Sánchez, lounges, living rooms and terraces. If they don't want to, they don't even need to cross the corridors. La Moncloa, as a complex, reaches 200 hectares, and the residence, in addition to 200 square meters, has as many others distributed in six private gardens, where both Sánchez and his two daughters can go out to play sports, walk and sunbathe , as we said, maintaining the safety distances provided in the protocols. A 'visitable' palace "Building built by Diego Méndez from 1949 to 1954 and neoclassical in style", these are the official data and something flat that you can find when you type 'Palacio de la Moncloa' on the internet. But this historic home, now occupied by Pedro Sánchez, is much more than that. Since its construction, much has been said about the residence of the Spanish president. A lot, depending on the party that leads and who speculates - of course - but the truth is that to date, no one outside the environment has been able to examine it from the inside. READ MORE: We introduce you to the Turkish dog, the other tenant of Moncloa For more than two years, Sánchez's initiative #MoncloaAbierta has shown part of the historic palace to the public for the first time. There is already a public anxious to know what the case of the 'presi' smells like, a mansion subjected to an important transition period, after that motion of censure that separated Mariano Rajoy from his domain. Requirements to enter? It is enough to register on the Moncloa website, when all this coronavirus happens, of course. Now, the question that the bulk of the public is asking is: is it really worth going to the vicinity of Ciudad Universitaria to gossip about the Sánchez Gómez hut? Will the private rooms be visible? The stays that the PSOE leader has decided to show, in a clear movement of transparency and rapprochement with the people, are basically those that have to do with institutional events. Among these rooms, is the building of the Council of Ministers, a pavilion located right next to the residential palace where the president actually lives. This capacity attached to the house was ordered to be built by Felipe González and Carmen Romero, once the couple, together with their children, were overwhelmed in their personal space. The González couple, who to date have been the longest living in Moncloa (from 1982 to 1996), reduced to the maximum the 'official' rooms in their neoclassical case, leaving only and symbolically the president's office on the ground floor. come down from the palace. You will also be able to see on the tour the Secretary of State for Communication and the gardens of the huge complex, which have already been labeled as well of cultural interest thanks to the intervention of the artist Cecilio Rodríguez, responsible for the Sabatini Gardens or the Rosaleda del Retirement, at the beginning of the last century.
  9. Furthermore, the positivity rate has fallen more than three points, dropping from 6.8% to 3.5%. The Department of Health will carry out a second screening in Irurtzun tomorrow Saturday. The new positives for covid-19 in Navarra have suffered a notable decrease in recent hours, falling to 65, according to data provided by the Institute of Public and Labor Health of Navarra (ISPLN), after performing in the public system of health 1850 tests (1135 PCR and 715 antigen tests), with 3.5% positive. This is a considerable decrease compared to the data recorded the day before, in which 124 were counted. Therefore, infections have been reduced by half. Along the same lines, the positivity rate has dropped more than three points, dropping from 6.8% to 3.5%. From the epidemiological point of view of the evolution of the pandemic, the Navarra Institute of Public and Labor Health indicates that yesterday there were six new admissions related to this disease in the Foral Community, one in the ICU. In addition, yesterday the death of a 90-year-old woman related to the covid was registered. The total number of confirmed deaths from this cause in Navarra stands at 932. By zones, in Pamplona and its region, 57% of positive cases are registered, in the Tudela area, 22% of them, and in Estella, 10%. The other positives (11%) are spread over other areas of Navarra. As for the areas or municipalities most affected, none has exceeded five cases. The Iturrama neighborhood of Pamplona leads the list with four positives, while Alsasua, Cordobilla, Tudela Este, Mutilva and the neighborhoods of San Juan and II Ensanche (Pamplona) have counted three each. By age ranges of the new cases registered, the majority group is 30 to 44 years old, with 35%; followed by those aged 60 to 75, with 24%. Next, the group of people over 75 years old, which registered 14% of the cases and the 15-29 year old group, 13%. Finally, there is the group between 45 and 59 years old, with 8% and the group under fifteen years old, with 6%. The average age of the new positives is 48.5 years. Regarding gender, 54% of the cases are women and the other 46%, men. 154 people remain admitted (the same as yesterday), 21 of whom are in ICU positions (one less than yesterday) and another 14 are in home hospitalization (the same as yesterday). The rest, 119 patients, are on the floor (one more than yesterday). According to daily reports, the cumulative incidence of virus infections in Navarra stands at 41,238 cases. Screening in Irurtzun The Health Department will carry out a second screening in Irurtzun tomorrow Saturday, after the one carried out last Tuesday motivated by an outbreak of family origin with social and school ramifications. About 700 people in the 30-49 age range are called to the tests. In the first screening, in which about 150 people were cited, 22 positives were detected which, added to 26 previous ones, made up an outbreak of 48 cases that Health continues to closely monitor together with municipal institutions and Primary Care. On the other hand, 9 classrooms remain confined to the local Atakondoa school. School situation A total of 176 schoolchildren have been confined in the last twenty-four hours. The current total number of isolated students is 923, which represents 1.49% of all Kindergarten and Primary students. By classrooms, there are 48 isolated in 28 centers. They represent 1.37% of the stable groups of coexistence. The president of the Government of Navarra, María Chivite, has affirmed that the Executive will make decisions this Christmas on restrictions to mobility based on the specific figures of covid-19 infections. In the Basque Country, infections and positivity have risen slightly. Thus, it has registered 465 new positives in coronavirus this Thursday, which is 69 more than the previous day and a slight increase in the positivity rate by five tenths, to 3.6%, with more tests carried out.

  11. It is common for some luxury brands to make unique creations from time to time, vehicles configured exclusively for a customer who is willing to pay their high price. They are the well-known one-off and the second Lamborghini has just been presented. After seeing the outstanding SC18 a couple of years ago, now an impressive Lamborghini SC20 arrives to delight the public. A specimen without a roof approved for driving on the open road that was designed by the Centro Stile in Sant'Agata Bolognese. This model has been created following the wishes of a lucky customer, who wanted a convertible that had features of other mythicals such as the Aventador J or the Venom Roadster. Taking the basis of the Lamborghini Aventador, it was decided to use a new carbon fiber body in which the aerodynamics were improved so that the air did not reach the cabin. It also includes solutions such as a front splitter framed by two fins, air intakes similar to those of the Huracán GT3 EVO and some solutions adopted by the recently launched Lamborghini Essenza SCV12. It stands out that this unique Lamborghini SC20 that will be made has a striking configuration thanks to the base color Bianco Fu and the details in Blu Cepheus. Inside, the colors are repeated (although alternating the tones Nero Cosmus and Bianco Leda), in addition to the visible carbon fiber in areas such as the door panels or the center console. This material is also used in the seat shells, which receive an Alcantara and leather upholstery. Note that the door handles are made of solid aluminum or that the air vents are made using 3D printing. What was clear is that it would use the legendary 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine that the Italian brand has among its ranks. In the Lamborghini SC20 it develops a power of 770 hp and 720 Nm of torque, in addition to being linked to a seven-speed ISR gearbox. It features an all-wheel drive system with an electronic central differential and is fitted with Pirelli PZero Corsa tires as standard on the 20-inch front and 21-inch rear single-nut aluminum wheels. Its benefits are still a mystery and also the surely exorbitant price that the sole owner of this Lamborghini SC20 will have paid.
  12. Children, pets, little free time and few skills make cleaning the house an almost impossible task, but the solution has arrived at your home and it is called Roborock S5 Max Our dear little animals are a wonderful company. They give us love, they make us have good times, they make us so proud that we fill our Instagram accounts with their thousands of cute or funny movements and they are undoubtedly the center of all conversations between friends and family. However, although their cuteness can steal the heart of any visit that is planted in your house, let's face it, cleaning management with them becomes more complicated. Especially if you are a true cleaning maniac, because surely you will spend the day collecting hair or trying one and a thousand solutions (rather ineffective) so that the floor of your home is pristine. The best thing is not only that it is capable of vacuuming and scrubbing any surface, but you can control it from your mobile, even when you are away from home Don't worry, you are not alone. Cris Castany, our content director for Beauty, Leisure and Fashion at Vanitatis, also suffered (and a lot) from the inclemency of cleaning in a house with two children and a full-time job, which both she and her husband found he left little time to develop his fondness for shiny floors. But one day they found the solution to all her problems, the perfect 'pet' they had always dreamed of. Named after it, Roborock S5 Max, a cleaning robot capable of vacuuming and scrubbing your entire home without you barely noticing. Clumsy and denied daily chores, your salvation has come. The best thing about this innocent but bully gadget is not only that it is capable of vacuuming and scrubbing any surface, but that you can also control it from your mobile, even when you are away from home. Thanks to its mapping system you will be able to tell it which rooms to clean (with more or less effort), which areas are restricted to its passage and how much suction or water it should use. If you also want your mother to be proud, and not 'suspend' the cotton test when she visits, it is the perfect time for you to get the Roborock S5 Max since on Black Friday you can get it for 399 euros on Amazon or 397 euros in Gearbest (its official sale price is 539 euros).
  13. The budget of the community bloc amounts to 1.1 billion euros. MEPs approved the accounts with 548 votes in favor, 81 against and 66 abstentions. The plenary of the European Parliament yesterday approved the EU budget for the period 2021-2027, endowed with 1,074 billion euros, which was unlocked last week after Hungary and Poland lifted the veto. The negotiators of the European Council and the European Parliament reached an agreement on these accounts on November 10, but the budget package - together with the post-pandemic recovery plan - has been vetoed for a month due to the rejection of Budapest and Warsaw that the disbursement of money was linked to the rule of law, as the Twenty-seven had agreed with the European Parliament. Finally, these two countries last week agreed with Germany a declaration with some guarantees on the application of this mechanism, which in any case does not modify the content of the regulation: it will allow for the first time to freeze European aid when a country violates the State of Law. This interpretative declaration unlocks both the European budget of 1,074 billion euros and the post-pandemic fund of 750 billion euros, although the latter does not require the approval of the European Parliament. MEPs approved the budgets on Wednesday with 548 votes in favor, 81 against and 66 abstentions.
