UPDATE 13:30: Dinamo officially announced that Alex Couto has been removed from the club. It was also specified that Dinamo will be represented by Constantin Eftimescu, chairman of the Board of Directors and by Cornel Talnar, member of the Board of Directors.

"Bucharest, December 14, 2020. The Board of Directors of Dinamo 1948 decided today, unanimously, the dismissal of Mr. Alejandro Couto Lago from the position of general manager of our company, announces the Press Office of the club through the official website.
Until the appointment of a new general manager, the Dinamo Bucharest club will be represented exclusively by Constantin Eftimescu (chairman of the Board of Directors) and Cornel Talnar (member of the Board of Directors) in relations with the Romanian Football Federation (FRF), Professional League Football (LPF), Romanian banking institutions and club partners.

Also today, the Board of Directors of the club discussed a new financial, sports and administrative recovery plan for Dinamo Bucharest, said the president Constantin Eftimescu ", was the communiqué of the team.
Dinamo had today, at 11 o'clock, the meeting of the Board of Directors. According to www.sport.ro sources, following today's discussions, Alex Couto, who has held the position of general manager of the team since the Spanish investors came, was removed from the club.

The council has 5 members: Constantin Eftimescu, Cristi Hildan, Cornel Talnar, Cornel Dinu and Pablo Cortacero, the latter being removed from the position of president two weeks ago.

The other 4 members of the Board of Directors will continue today the removal of the Spaniards from Dinamo. General manager Alex Couto and sports director Rufo Collado will be expelled, the two no longer being recognized by the players or the other club officials.

In recent weeks, 8 people have left Dinamo, being, among others, the coach Cosmin Contra and 4 footballers, Rene Roman, Isma Lopez, Gonzalez and Borja Valle.

Their decisions were based on the promises of Pablo Cortacero, who said 9 times in a row that he would send 1.5 million euros to Romania, an amount that never reached Dinamo's accounts.

The only money the players received during this period was collected by the fans, by selling virtual tickets to matches. In total, supporters have raised 180,000 euros so far.

Today, in addition to the removal of the two Iberians, the budget for the 2020/21 season will be established and it will be proposed to move the headquarters to the location arranged by Ciprian Marica, on Calea Dorobantilor.
