Arriving in the old continent was a challenge. From the beginning of her journey in Spain, a motivated Oriana Altuve, by dint of humility and sacrifice, decided to win the Iberdrola League.

In the 2019-20 season with Rayo Vallecano, Altuve conceded 13 goals in 18 games, which earned him the prestigious recognition by the newspaper Marca.

“My arrival in Spain was not easy. It took me a bit to adapt, but it helped me to grow personally and in football, which is the most important thing. I have cultivated my talent with a lot of sacrifice, humility, and it has paid off, ”said Altuve.

In her second season with Rayo Vallecano, the forward took confidence from the hand of a receptive institution that opened the doors and kept her as another member of the family.

“The girls opened the doors for me, I gained their trust and that of the coach little by little. I will always remember that experience. The Rayo family has always been very close, very attentive, I will always remember that beautiful experience, "said the Venezuelan.

Changing of scene, Altuve left for Real Betis in order to continue conquering the league. Currently, in eight games he has conceded a goal against Athletic Bilbao in October, but he assures that with work the goals will enter to achieve the club's victories.

“Adaptation has not been easy, but everything is a process and we have to keep working. Little by little the goals will come in, which is the most important thing. I feel very good here, happy, they treat me very well they have supported me. It is a process, and for that we work ”, she pointed out.

An athlete who gathers her inspiration in her family to continue meeting goals, breaking records. She also gave a message to young soccer players who dream of achieving what Altuve has achieved.

"It is not impossible to achieve it, fight for your dreams, it is not easy, but you can get ahead," she concluded.
