In the midst of an intense power struggle, Caribes de Anzoátegui and Navegantes del Magallanes had fun this Saturday's double round.

The tribe was smiled by the extrainning
The Orientals needed extra innings, but managed to stay with the first 6-4.

On an error by shortstop Engelb Vielma, Caribes went ahead in the second inning with a run, the only hairline of the game until the end of the seventh inning, when Alberth Martinez tied the action with his first slam of the year.

The extrainning came and the bats were released. With a Niuman Romero single, a double by Tomas Telis and a sacrifice fly by Oswaldo Arcia, the tribe produced five runs.

And although Magellan tried the reaction, with the bats of Cade Gotta and Carlos Pérez, they could not score more than three runs and ended up falling for the fifth time in the season.

Right-hander José Ascanio was left with the victory, despite allowing Martinez's home run, and the experienced Deolis Guerra claimed defeat.

Magellan responded with heavy artillery
Refusing to add a third loss in a row, Magellan faced the second game with greater aggression and managed to win 10-4.

The Turks took the lead in the first inning with two RBIs by Reynaldo Rodríguez and Jackson Valera, but Caribes took command of the game by fabricating all four of their lines between the second and third inning.

Magellan understood that he had to come back with force to be able to preserve the victory and he did so. Cade Gotta, Allberth Martínez and Valera combined to push five and put the scoreboard 7-4 in favor of the electricians.

But that was not all, in the next two episodes La Nave continued to expand its advantage. In the fifth with a hairline towed by Anthony Pereira and in the sixth with two RBIs by Gotta.
