Dark Posted November 30, 2020 Posted November 30, 2020 Microsoft is working on how to bring Android applications to Windows 10 through its 'online' store and for this it is developing the 'Latte' project, based on the Windows subsystem for Linux. Currently, Windows 10 users can use Android applications on their computers through the 'Your phone' application, which streams them, but is limited to a few Samsung devices. 'Latte' is the code name of the project with which Microsoft would allow Android 'apps' to be installed and run natively on Windows 10, according to sources familiar with this plan told Windows Central. It is expected to be available next year. Microsoft has increased support in Windows 10 in recent years for different application platforms, such as PWA, UWP, Win32 and Linux. With Latte, you would extend to Android applications, and you would do so through the Windows subsystem for Linux, with which you would provide your own Android subsystem. 1
