The DS9 has just been officially launched on the French market. The mid-range sedan is currently available with three engines and customers can choose one of two levels of equipment.

Earlier this year, the French introduced the new DS9 to the world. An extremely elegant mid-segment sedan, developed on the EMP-2 platform of the giant PSA Peugeot-Citroen.

Now, the DS9 has officially debuted on the French market, a good opportunity to find out how much it costs.

 

 

The new DS9 is currently available with three engines: PureTech 225, with petrol engine and 225 hp, E-TENSE 225 - hybrid plug-in, also with 225 hp - and the top version E-TENSE 4x4 360.

The latter is, without a doubt, the most attractive, despite the 80,000 euros you have to pay for it. This is because it comes equipped with a 200-horsepower gasoline engine and two electric units, the total power of the assembly being 360 hp and 520 Nm of torque.

 

In addition to all-wheel drive, this DS9 E-TENSE 4x4 360 also comes with 20-inch wheels and black calipers with the DS Performance logo.

The basic version, ie DS9 PureTech 225, starts at 47,700 euros in France. Fixed as a BMW 5 Series.

Customers have two levels of equipment: Performance Line + and Rivoli +.

If the former focuses more on sportiness, with Alcantara upholstery, DS Performance Line logos, glossy black grille and perforated leather steering wheel, the latter - Rivoli + - offers luxury materials, diamond-shaped decorations and three environments: Basalt Black Leather and Opera with two shades of Nappa leather: Rubis Red or Black chairs.

 

The color palette includes five shades: Pearl White, Midnight Blue, Pearl Crystal, Artense Gray and Pearl Black.

In Romania, the new DS9 will be available starting with the summer of 2021.
