Small cars are typically geared toward being inexpensive, both to purchase and to maintain. The equipment was worthy of a representative saloon, with a full leather upholstery and Alcantara (including the headrests of the rear seats, very rare at the time), split rear seats, electric windows in front, air conditioning, driver's airbag, power steering , central locking with remote control and electrically operated heated rear view mirrors.
 

During the purchase process at the dealership, the customer also ordered certification with the “Premium” logo and the number of the unit, since it was a limited edition. Only 600 copies were made, all of them destined for the Italian market, so for these reasons it is likely that you did not know the Peugeot 106 Premium. When it arrived in December 1995 together with its older brother, the 306 Premium, the total of the units sold out quickly, which has made it today a classic appreciated by the fans of the brand.
