Dark Posted October 12, 2020 Posted October 12, 2020 Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott suffered one of the most shocking injuries of the year on Sunday while facing the New York Giants for the American Football League (NFL). With 6 minutes and 33 seconds to go to the end of the third quarter, Prescott was running with the ball when he was knocked down by cornerback Logan Ryan and, when he hit the ground, his ankle was totally deflected, leaving teammates and rivals shuddering. Prescott grabbed his leg as he writhed in pain, and television footage showed his right foot bent at an awkward angle away from his leg. - Dallas Cowboys (@dallascowboys) October 11, 2020 The 27-year-old quarterback left the field on a stretcher with tears in his eyes and raising a fist as a sign of strength. He will undergo surgery on his right ankle this Sunday, the ESPN network advanced. Andy Dalton took over as COO of the Cowboys, who ended up winning the game 37-34 and occupying the top spot in the National Conference East Division with two wins and three losses. Prescott finished 14 of 21 yards for 166 yards with an interception. 4
