Despite the fact that in recent years great discoveries have been made that have allowed us to better understand that perfect machine that is the human body, there are still many secrets that our body hides. Our body is a structure as complex as it is fascinating that throughout history has been the object of study for different branches of science.

However, despite the fact that every day of our life we interact with our body, we are still far from knowing everything about it. Not only that, but almost everyone is unaware of most of the mysteries that science has managed to unravel about our body and how it works.
