Augmented technology

 

Escalade 2021 incorporates the industry's first curved OLED screen, offering a 38.3 '' display with twice the pixels of a 4K television. This technology delivers eye-catching images, perfect blacks and the largest color gamut of any automotive display today.

 

The system includes three screens focused on the driver: a touch control panel measuring 7.2 '', located on the left; a 14.2 '' screen behind the wheel; and one more, dedicated to infotainment, of 16.9 '', located in the center of the vehicle.

 

The OLED screen is as thin as paper and its [CENSORED]ture positions the screens to optimize visibility, while its vivid colors and visual quality eliminated the need to add components around the screen, creating a bright and uncluttered space.

 

Cadillac Escalade incorporates other advanced technologies, such as:

 

• All-new augmented reality navigation, which projects a live street view in front of the vehicle on the main screen, with turn indicators and directional information superimposed on the scene. Includes features such as direction-based audio prompts; for example, an audible warning through the left speakers indicates "turn left", to further emphasize the navigation instructions, with the volume increasing as the turn approaches.

• 360 ° vision camera, which has different views such as: 3D view of the vehicle, with 8 display options (front, rear, trailer, among others).

• Full mirror display, which projects a rear view of the vehicle on the rear view mirror screen.

• Rear seat entertainment with a pair of separate 12.6 ’’ HD touchscreens with navigation and the ability to play games, music and videos through HDMI and USB ports. Both can sync Android smartphones and tablets through Miracast. Security

 

In addition to visual technology, the 2021 Cadillac Escalade is equipped with Front and Rear Pedestrian Detection Alert, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Front and Rear Collision Alert, as well as preset seat belts, among other safety attributes.

Exterior design

 

Escalade retains the vertical lighting lines that characterize Cadillac and adds a sleek horizontal headlight to maximize a spacious and confident stance. It incorporates 36 '' vertical adaptive front, fog and rear LED headlamps.

 

The grille features active vents and black textures with galvanized accents, and the front fascia, roof rails, side moldings, trunk, retractable running boards and dual-outlet dual exhaust system tips have a distinctive chrome trim. .

 

The new Escalade has a hands-free trunk opening and closing with a projection of the Cadillac logo; panoramic sunroof; redesigned 22 '' aluminum wheels strengthen their bold look; side mirrors in body color (electric, antifog and electrically folding); as well as chrome and body-color illuminated door handles.

 

Interior design

AKG Studio Audio System

 

The 2021 Cadillac Escalade incorporates a 36-speaker, 28-channel amplified AKG Studio System that provides clear sound inside the cabin, mixed with the advanced features of the SUV, such as:

Thanks to independent rear suspension, which benefits improved driving dynamics, its new architecture and technologies incorporated into the chassis, the 2021 Cadillac Escalade offers 41 percent more legroom in the third row of seats and an increase of 68 % in the maximum cargo space behind the third row in the SUV version, compared to the previous generation.
