The Volkswagen ID.3 is here and you can configure it to suit you on the brand's website. For now, it can be purchased in two versions, each with a different electric battery (the largest, 58 and 77 kWh) that offer up to 420 and 549 kilometers of autonomy, respectively.

The most affordable proposal in the range is the ID.3 Pro Performance, with a purchase price starting at 36,145 euros without the help of the Moves Plan included. It equips a 204 hp engine with 58 kWh batteries and reaches up to 420 kilometers of autonomy. It has brilliant performance, especially in acceleration: it takes 7.3 seconds to reach 100 km / h and reaches 160 km / h of maximum speed.
 

From 330 euros per month in 'renting'

However, there is another alternative that can be more interesting and profitable for many customers, because it avoids making the full payment of the car or having to finance it in installments. It is about renting (long-term rental), which allows you to enjoy the ID.3 Pro Performance from just 330 euros per month in 48 installments, paying an entry of 7,197 euros (VAT included). It has an expandable cap of 10,000 kilometers a year, but above all, in practice, it means driving an ID.3 with a flat rate. And it is that the fee includes practically all the expenses of the car, from the all risk insurance without excess to the maintenance and possible repairs in the official Volkswagen dealers. That is, everything, except for electricity recharges and tire changes, which in electric cars last longer, and in most cases it will not be necessary to change before the 40,000 kilometers covered by the 48-month or four-year contract . For the rest, the Pro Performance trim already includes details such as LED headlights, front and rear parking sensors, 18-inch wheels and advanced safety features such as ACC adaptive cruise control with anti-shock radar.
 

This same mechanism is offered in four more finishes: the Life (from 38,025 euros), the Style (from 41,225 euros), the Business (from 41,575 euros) and the Max (from 46,585 euros), all without include aid from the Moves Plan.


 

The Life adds elements such as the Discover Pro Navigator and stays at 355 euros of monthly renting fee with 7,134 euros of entry. The Style adds, in addition, the IQ Light Matrix LED headlights and a panoramic roof, and costs 375 euros of monthly fee with an entry of 8,007 euros. The Business already comes with a rear view camera and has the same fee as the previous one, 375 euros, and an entry of 8,197 euros. Finally, the Max adds to all the above the Head up display, a computer system that projects information on the windshield in front of the driver (navigator, traffic signs, etc.) and the adaptive electronic suspension DCC, which allows you to choose between different profiles driving (Comfort, Sport, etc.). If you choose in renting, it comes out for an entry of 9,186 euros and 48 installments of 415 euros.
 

With up to 549 kilometers of autonomy
 

The ID.3 with the largest 77 kWh batteries has no less than 549 kilometers of autonomy and is sold with two different finishes. The first is called Pro S and is available from 40,615 euros. It comes standard with LED headlights, front and rear parking sensors, 19-inch wheels, and ACC adaptive cruise control with anti-crash radar. And if you choose in renting, you have an entry of 8,109 euros and 48 installments of 365 euros.
 

This same mechanic is also sold in a superior finish, the Tour, available from 48,225 euros and, in the case of renting, with an entry of 9,644 euros and 48 installments of 425 euros. In addition, it comes fully equipped as standard, with the Discover Pro Navigator, Matrix LED headlights, rear view camera, Head-up Display and 19-inch wheels, among other features.
