Chelsea regained their balance again after a difficult tie with West Bromwich Albion 3/3 in their last league match, and we cleared the dust of defeat against Tottenham by penalty kicks in the match that brought the two teams together last Tuesday in the round of 16 in the English League Cup. Chelsea, coached by Frank Lampard, raised its score to seven points in fourth place, while Crystal Palace was stuck at six points in eighth place. Chelsea's Timo Werner was close to scoring his first goals with the team, but his attempts went directly to Vicente Guaita, goalkeeper at Crystal Palace, to end the first half with a goalless draw. Chelsea advanced five minutes into the second half, through Benjamin Chilwell, who scored his first goal for Chelsea since his move from Leicester City, after the Crystal Palace defense failed to clear the ball to reach Chilwell, who shot a powerful ball into the goal. Chilwell set up Kurt Zuma's second goal in the 66th minute, with a header. The last two goals came through Jorginho, who scored them in the (78) and (82) minutes. 2
