NUEVO JAGUAR F-TYPE 2021

The new F-TYPE's range of powerful and responsive engines includes four- and eight-cylinder options ranging from 300HP to 575HP, a variety of options unmatched in its segment. All are paired with eight-speed Quickshift transmissions with full manual control via the SportShift gear selector or steering wheel-mounted paddles.

Each engine is equipped with an active exhaust system, which can be interchanged as an option or as standard. Customers who choose the supercharged 575HP V8 benefit from the new Quiet Start function, which ensures a more subtle and refined sound: Electrically actuated bypass valves in the exhaust remain closed until they open automatically under load, releasing the fundamental roar for the F-Type driving experience. If you wish, you can override the silent start by selecting dynamic mode or pressing the interchangeable exhaust button before starting the engine.

The distinctive pop and snap when accelerating quickly is synonymous with the F-Type, which remains; sounds have been meticulously tuned to suit the range of powerful four-, six- and eight-cylinder engines. Highly efficient close-coupled particulate filters reduce emissions.

The filters are perfectly integrated into the exhaust system and trap ultrafine particles as the exhaust gases pass through them. Under normal driving conditions, the trapped particles will oxidize into CO2 and the filter will regenerate each time the driver releases the accelerator.

The New F-Type R: Exciting Performance, Outstanding Dynamics The new F-Type R continues to set the benchmark for truly immersive and driver-centered sports cars. Just as its design has evolved, so has the supercharged 5.0-liter V8 at its core. Now it generates 575HP and 700Nm of torque (increasing 25HP and 20Nm compared to the previous model).

Acquiring all the learning accumulated in the development of the 321km / h limited edition Jaguar XE SV Project 8, the Quickshift transmissions in the new F-Type R have been meticulously recalibrated for a more engaging driving experience. The new F-Type R specifically offers even faster and sharper gear changes when the driver commands the changes manually via the steering wheel-mounted paddles or the SportShift gear selector.

Both upshifts and downshifts are more immediate and provide an even more connected and responsive feel.

Combined with Jaguar's torque-on-demand all-wheel drive system and Intelligent Driveline Dynamics (IDD) control technology, this delivers truly extraordinary performance and immediate throttle response in all gears and in all conditions. Acceleration from 0-100 km / h takes just 3.5 seconds, while top speed is 299 km / h electronically limited.

Custom calibration of the Intelligent Driveline Dynamics and the rear electronic active differential ensures optimal torque distribution between the front and rear axles and on the rear axle. Combined with a new calibration for the Dynamic Stability Control system, this improves traction and dynamics, on all surfaces and in all climates, while maintaining the rear-wheel drive feel and handling balance of the F-Type R.

Aluminum double-wishbone front and rear suspension and a state-of-the-art power assist steering system that offers an even more connected feel are central to the car's immediate and intuitive responses to every driver action.

Combined with the new anti-roll bars and springs, the chassis is further enhanced with continuously variable dampers at the core of Jaguar's Adaptive Dynamics system. The valves within each shock and control algorithms have been recalibrated to improve both low-speed comfort and high-speed control.

The unique tuning of the Torque Vectoring by Braking system allows even more precise control of the braking applied to the wheels to further mitigate understeer, even cornering at high speeds.

The rear forks are now die-cast aluminum, which, along with the new, larger wheel stabilizers and revised upper ball joints, increase camber and stiffness by 37 and 41 percent respectively. This results in more precise control of the tire contact surface, resulting in an even more connected steering feel.

Standard fitted with large 380mm and 376mm front and rear brake discs, the F-Type R can be specified with Jaguar's Carbon Ceramic Matrix (CCM) brake system. Featuring even larger 398mm and 380mm discs and six- and four-piston monobloc calipers with a distinctive yellow finish, this system offers exceptional braking performance with excellent fade resistance. The brake pre-fill system ensures a constant pedal feel, stop after stop.

The specially developed Pirelli P Zero 265/35 / ZR20 and 305/30 / ZR20 tires are 10mm wider than before and provide exceptional levels of grip. These are paired with the new 20-inch 10-spoke Gloss Black wheels with a contrast Diamond-Turned finish exclusive to the new F-Type R.

The core of the F-Type range: Unrivaled choice in the sports car segment

The combination of the Jaguar sports car with the 2.0-liter 300HP turbocharged Ingenium engine offers increased agility, efficiency and affordability. This is a true F-Type, with its own unique character. This model retains the expected performance of the F-Type and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in just 5.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 250 km / h.

Maximum torque from the 400Nm turbocharged engine generated at just 1,500rpm, along with technologies including fully variable control of the intake valve lift, integrated exhaust manifold and ceramic ball bearing dual-input turbocharger , offers exceptional response throughout the rev range. It also makes it the most efficient F-Type in the range, with a fuel economy of 11.62 km / l and CO2 emissions of 184 g / km (equivalent to NEDC).
