Lionel Messi has once again hit out against the Barcelona club management, and this time it is for the way his teammate Luis Suarez was forced to exit the club.Barcelona skipper, who had earlier tried to leave the club as well, but then was forced to stay back due to issue regarding his release clause, believes that his teammate Luis Suarez was treatly very harshly by the club.

 

The Barcelona team has undergone major changes since their horror exit from the UEFA Champions League where they were thrashed 8-2 by the eventual winners, Bayern Munich.

 

A new coach in the form of Ronald Koeman has joined the club, and there is an attempt to create a team from scratch.

 

On Friday, Messi wrote on his official Instagram account, “You deserved a farewell befitting who you are: one of the most important players in the history of the club, achieving great things for the team and on an individual level.“You did not deserve for them to throw you out like they did. But the truth is that at this stage nothing surprises me anymore.”

 

Messi’s revolt against Barcelona president

 

Messi had earlier tried to revolt against Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu’s leadership of the club.Luis Suarez had last week left the club and joined La Liga rivals Atletico Madrid.

 

Suarez had paid tribute to Messi in his farewell news conference on Thursday, recalling that everyone had told him the Argentinian was difficult to get on with, but declaring they had become best friends as well as prolific strike partners.

 

“It will be strange to see you in another shirt and even stranger to come up against you on the pitch,” Messi added.

 

“I had already begun to imagine it but today I went into the dressing room and it truly dawned on me. It’s going to be so difficult not to continue to share every day with you both on the pitch and away from it.”

 

Barcelona begin their La Liga campaign at home to Villarreal on Sunday.
