El italiano Enea "La Bestia" Bastianini (Kalex).

The track conditions were practically perfect as could be seen in the rest of the categories and therefore the times dropped dramatically in all categories and Moto2 was no exception because in just a few minutes the British Sam Lowes (Estrella Galicia 0 ' 0 Kalex) rolled in 1: 35.844 to reduce the time that the world leader, the Italian Luca Marini (Kalex) achieved yesterday, 1: 35.956.

And it was not the last opportunity because Sam Lowes himself managed to lower his personal record by shooting 1: 35.800, a new absolute record and the third record below one minute and 36 seconds, which only the British and Italian could access, although there was still half an hour of effective training ahead.

With Lowes dominating the Moto2 global table, Marini and Spaniards Jorge Navarro (Speed Up) followed in his wake, very much in need of getting a good result to give a radical turn to the start of the season that only allowed him to score in two races despite always being among the fastest, and the rookie Arón Canet (Speed Up).

But the "hostilities" had only just begun because already in the last section of the third session the Italian Enea "La Bestia" Bastianini (Kalex) dealt a new blow to the chronometer by rolling in 1: 35.649, new absolute record of the category, still seconded by Sam Lowes, but with Marco Bezzecchi (Kalex) in third place, who had beaten his teammate Luca Marini, while Canet and Navarro "fell" to seventh and eighth, respectively.

Among the Spaniards, Augusto Fernández (Estrella Galicia 0'0 Kalex) also achieved the pass to the second classification with the ninth best time, with Xavier Vierge (Kalex) in twelfth place and with outstanding names such as those of the German Marcel Schrotter (Kalex ), the Italian Nicolo Bulega (Kalex) or the British Jake Dixon (Kalex), while drivers such as the Italians Lorenzo Baldasarri (Kalex) and Fabio di Giannantonio (Speed Up) or the Spaniards Marcos Ramírez (Kalex) and Héctor Garzó (Kalex).
