Ahead of its world premiere, the new Porsche Panamera has shown its potential by placing itself on the times table as the fastest large sedan on the Nürburgring Nordschleife track. Under the command of test driver Lars Kern, the Panamera Turbo managed to cover the 20.3 kilometers of the Green Hell in a time of 7: 29.81 minutes, which ranks it as the fastest full-size four-door. Given the safety requirements, Porsche only changed the driver's seat, imposing one of competition, and a safety cage was imposed for protection of Lars Kern. In the end, the time timed by the 550 hp Panamera Turbo made clear its superiority by dropping the mark set four years ago by 13 seconds, In addition to power, the improvements made to the chassis and steering of the new Panamera were key to achieving this time in what is known as the most demanding circuit in the world. 2
