After 66 laps of the Barcelona-Catalonia circuit, Lewis Hamilton finished the race in first place, a position known to the Stevenage driver, who was also a winner on this stage in 2014, 2017, 2018 and 2019.

Thanks to this triumph, number 88 in his total and fourth this season, Lewis Hamilton became the driver with the most podiums in the history of Formula One. He has 156 after having broken this Sunday with the German Michael Schumacher.

                                                         Gran Premio de España.

In Barcelona he started from pole position and maintained that position to beat Max Verstappen and Valtteri Bottas.

Canadian Lance Stroll and Mexican Sergio Pérez, who received a five-second penalty, left their Racing Points in fourth and fifth places, respectively.

The Spanish Carlos Sainz (McLaren) was sixth and equaled his best result at the Barcelona-Catalonia circuit, where he has scored in the six editions disputed. In 2016, with Toro Rosso he was also sixth.

The top-10 was completed by German Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari), Thai Alexander Albon (Red Bull), Frenchman Pierre Gasly (AlphaTauri) and Briton Lando Norris (McLaren).
