SougarLord
After weeks of rumors, endless speculation, and tons of potential release dates, NVIDIA revealed when it will unveil its new graphics. The presentation event of "the latest innovations in games and graphics of the company" will be on Tuesday, September 1, the planned event will take place where we can see the latest from the company. Ampere is expected to be a big leap from the current Turing architecture. We could say that Turing was a preliminary implementation of Ray Tracing, seen what we have seen. The RTX Ampere are expected to deliver up to three times the performance in ray tracing. It is even speculated that the GTX models could disappear and the ray tracing would reach the low range. Be that as it may, the important thing is that after months of talking and telling, we finally have something tangible. Already Ampere GPUs for AI and Deep Learning represent a big leap from the Volta architecture. A Volta architecture that only reached the professional segment and was called Turing for the gaming market. Note that the latest rumors indicate that NVIDIA changed its strategy when it comes to models. To date NVIDIA first launches the Founders Edition models, which are their own models. Later, like a month or so later, the custom models are released by builders like Gigabyte, MSI, ASUS, and so on. Now they would all launch together, thus generating a brutal supply amount.
