According to information from La Gazzetta dello Sport, Matthijs de Ligt will go under the knife this week to solve the problem. The 20-year-old defender "will return to football in mid-November," said the Italian media.

 

“It is something that must necessarily be done. That will be my focus from now on, because I will need some time to recover, "said De Ligt, after the elimination of Juventus, in the second round of the Champions League, at the hands of Olympique Lyon.
