[Moto] Availability and price of the Zontes U125 for Spain

At the end of June, when the news came to light that Zontes is working on two scooters, Zontes Spain also confirmed the arrival of new 125 models.

Although we thought they would arrive a little earlier, the firm has finally presented the new model and announced the availability and price of the new Zontes U125, a sporty naked, attractive and adapted to Euro 5.

Until now, the firm had brought us the V-310, the T310 or the X 310, all of them with the 310 c.c. engine. But the time has come to take the leap and attack a very succulent new market niche.

And it is that at 125 c.c. They can access from 16 and 17 year olds with A1 permit, to adults with a car license (over 3 years) who prefer a motorcycle to move around in their day-to-day life.

The new Zontes in detail
The new Zontes U125 mounts a propeller developed by the brand itself, a 125 cc single cylinder. DOHC and liquid cooling.

It declares a maximum power of 10.8 kW (14.6 CV), complies with the new Euro 5 homologation, mounts a 6-speed gearbox and has an anti-rebound clutch.

The suspension is in the hands of an inverted fork and an adjustable spring preload monoshock on the rear axle. Braking is carried out by disc brakes with two-channel Bosch ABS system fitted as standard.

Very complete equipment
Little Zontes will not lack for anything: Full LED lighting, intelligent key system (PKE), buttons to open the fuel tank cap and pilot seat, anti-theft disc tray ...

The instrument panel is also very complete, with a widescreen LCD screen, which offers abundant information. The rev counter stands out, with a red zone starting at 10,000 rpm, fuel level, gear indicator, coolant temperature, hour clock, voltmeter, total and partial odometer, and chosen operating map: sport (S) or economic ( AND).

Availability and price of the Zontes U125

 

The new Zontes U125 will arrive in Spain from the first half of September, at a price of 2,995 euros.

It will be available in 2 different color combinations, gray / blue and gray / red, and will benefit from the free third-party insurance promotion, until November 30, 2020.
