Sources of the organization have affirmed, in declarations to EFE, that the three runners have given negative results in the first test to which they have been submitted, but "as a precaution" they have decided that none should leave. The three runners remain isolated in the concentration hotel and will pass a new test to find out the final result, although "if it is negative, they will not return to the race," sources from the organization have indicated. From the whole of the United Arab Emirates they have affirmed that the three runners gave a negative result in the test that was carried out in the days prior to the test, but following the protocol of the team itself and the International Cycling Union, the decision was made not to participate in the race. These three runners join Itamar Einhorn and Alex Dowsett of Israel Startup Nation who were also removed from the race this past Tuesday by a positive in a teammate. 1
