With state-of-the-art technologies, a wide range of driving aids and infotainment options, the renovated Audi A4 is now available in Mexico in 3 versions: Dynamic, Select, S Line with a 40 TFSI 190hp engine. In the next few months the 45 TFSI 249 hp engine and the S4 TFSI 354 hp will arrive.

 

Dimensions and exterior design: the language of the redesigned A4 is even more sporty

The exterior dimensions of the renovated A4 have grown to a lesser extent showing an image of poise on the asphalt. The redesigned A4 is now 24 millimeters longer. Its width also increased 5 millimeters more and its height remains unchanged. The fluid design with precise lines expresses the brand's sporty elegance.

 

The dynamic behavior of the renewed Audi A4 represents another level, on the one hand, much more sporty and performance-oriented, but at the same time with attention to comfort.

 

Colors and materials follow a new concept, allowing customers even greater freedom of personalization by opting for various optional inserts such as ellipse aluminum, glossy black lacquer, matt gray oak wood, Twill carbon and Audi Exclusive wood. The redesigned Audi A4 has twelve available body colors.

Transmission: powerful performance

The renovated Audi A4 reaches the Mexican market with a new generation of four and six cylinder TFSI engines. Audi A4 40 TFSI four-cylinder two-liter that generates 190 hp and 320 Nm with seven-speed S tronic transmission. The 24-liter four-cylinder 45 TFSI engine generating 249 hp and 370 Nm will be available soon. Equip a seven-speed S tronic transmission.

 

And finally the Audi A4 S4 TFSI three-cylinder six-liter that generates 354 hp and 500 Nm. The S4 TFSI equips an eight-speed Tiptronic transmission.

 

A4 models with 4-cylinder engines are 12-volt mild hybrid (MHEV) versions. In addition to the usual components, they carry a 12-volt lithium-ion battery and a 12-volt starter alternator.

                                                

The propulsion and generation of electrical energy are carried out, in principle, with the combustion engine, which is switched off while driving, achieving a significant benefit, as well as reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

Control, infotainment and Audi connect

 

The driving assistance and infotainment systems are high-tech and top quality, the use of which is even more intuitive. Audi connect Car 2X Safety and Service presents a wide variety of assistance systems from alarm activation notification, vehicle status information, online roadside assistance, remote interior heating, delimitation of traffic areas to the stolen vehicle locator.

 

The equipment of the modernized Audi A4 is even more abundant in each of its versions than that of its predecessors. With its new MMI system, the highly connected Audi A4 offers a user experience similar to a contemporary smartphone, the MMI touchscreen replaces the functions of the rotary control in the center console.

The renewed Audi A4 40 TFSI 2020 in its Dynamic version arrives in Mexico with a price of $ 609,000 MN, the Select version at $ 659,000 MN and the S Line at $ 749,000 MN; are already available in our country. The 45 TFSI engine and the S4 TFSI will arrive in Mexico from September.

 

In the second half of the year, the brand with the four rings renews part of its portfolio, taking the design and technology language of Audi to a new level.
