n the Italian Senate an agreement against the alarmism of the coronavirus has been organized under the title of Covid-19 in Italy, between information, science and rights. The conference, organized by the famous art critic and senator Vittorio Sgarbi, was attended by denialist doctors, scientists, jurists, experts and researchers from Covid-19, who tried to convince that the coronavirus no longer exists. Sgarbi has called for a real manifesto to be drawn up, so that the institutions will hear the voice of those who have been saying for weeks that the virus is no longer in Italy.

 

In the first row, next to Matteo Salvini, the famous singer Andrea Bocelli was also sent, in the month of May he was infected by the virus, like his family. Rejection of the state of emergency

The objective of the agreement is to prevent the government from decreeing a state of emergency again, from July 31. All those attending the agreement had a misconception: trying to reject that between Tuesday and Wednesday the Parliament approves the resolutions to prolong the state of emergency, because, according to the attendees, the coronavirus no longer exists. Among the experts invited to support this thesis is the well-known professor Alberto Zangrillo, personal physician to former Prime Minister Berlusconi, head of anesthesia and resuscitation at the San Raffaele hospital in Milan, who a few weeks ago spoke a phrase that created great controversy: The virus clinically it is non-existent. During the conference in the Italian Senate, he had a more cautious, less radical position: The infections we are seeing cannot produce a disease capable of taking the infected to hospitalization or worse still to the intensive care unit. According to Zangrillo, we have to behave with common sense and avoiding extremism.

 

Some experts have rejected the invitation because they disagreed with the idea that the virus does not exist. This is the case of the prestigious virologist Guido Silvestri, professor at Emory University in Atlanta, who criticized the initiative calling it a pseudoscientific. The data released this afternoon by the Ministry of Health prove him right, because the virus continues to circulate in Italy: in the last 24 hours, 170 new infections and 5 deaths have been registered.
