The British government has removed Spain from the list of safe countries to travel and as of this Sunday, those who enter from the country will have to quarantine for 14 days. This was announced this Saturday by the Foreign Ministry, which also advised against travel, except essential ones, to the peninsula.

 

Although traveling to the Canary and Balearic Islands is not discouraged, people returning from these destinations will also have to isolate themselves for two weeks. The authorities clarified that those who are currently in Spain do not have to interrupt their trip, and made a call to follow the advice of local authorities.

 

England lifted quarantine to travelers from Spain on July 10, after a month with the measure in force, but has put it into practice again when the outbreaks throughout Spanish territory seem to indicate that the country is beginning to suffer a second wave of the coronavirus outbreak.
