The new generation Mercedes-Benz S-Class will debut in September. Until then, now is the time to take a first look inside the German limousine.

Spy photos were taken by the new generation Mercedes-Benz S-Class and tried to capture on the camera both the interior of the German limousine and the interior. So we kind of got an idea of how the passengers will be pampered.

 

 

Now, the manufacturer in Stuttgart has also published the first official images of the interior of the new S-Class, focusing on the on-board screens and the MBUX infotainment system.

But let's take them one at a time. The German luxury limousine can be ordered with up to 5 OLED screens, three of which are designed for rear occupants.

 

 

The piece of resistance is the central display, with a diagonal of 12.8 inches, placed vertically. It integrates several functions - 27 physical buttons have been removed - and some can be accessed either by gestures or voice, or by simply pressing some icons on the screen.

The display also integrates air conditioning controls, which are displayed at all times at the bottom of the screen, regardless of the menu accessed by the driver.

 

Then we have the instrument panel. The information will be displayed in 3D and the Germans have prepared four themes: Discreet, Sporty, Exclusive and Classic.

Another innovation will be the Augmented Reality Head-up Display. The technology that debuted with the new generation A-Class worked only on the center screen but has now been extended to the head-up system.

 

 

The technology displays information received from the navigation system or from the security systems and projects it at a distance of 10 meters. For this, the engineers also used elements currently available in cinemas.

 

 

Passengers will interact with a digital assistant capable of recognizing up to 27 languages and the Chit-Chat function even allows them to initiate discussions about various fields.

As I said at the beginning of this article, the new generation Mercedes-Benz S-Class is expected to debut in September.
