YaKuZa--BoSs Posted July 2, 2020 Posted July 2, 2020 It will take place in an extraordinary Council of Ministers. In June, car sales fell by 36.6%, among other reasons, due to the uncertainty in purchase aid. The Government will finally approve this Friday, in an extraordinary Council of Ministers, the Renewal Plan to encourage the acquisition of vehicles, also diesel and gasoline, in exchange for scrapping an old one and which has a budget of 250 million euros ( 230 million if trucks and buses are excluded). As confirmed by government sources to Europa Press, the meeting will also discuss other measures of an economic nature. The Executive had planned to have brought it to the Council of Ministers last Tuesday, as announced by the Secretary General for Industry and SMEs, Raül Blanco, during the Automotive Table the day before. But it was finally removed from the agenda. The evolution of car sales during June, known yesterday, once again highlighted the need to implement such aid. PLAN FEATURES According to the 'Plan to Promote the entire value chain of the Automotive Sector', the 250 million euros of the Renove will be used to aid the acquisition of the most efficient models, but under a principle of "technological neutrality", The acquisition of combustion models (diesel and gasoline) will also be subsidized. The purchase of cars with a ZERO energy label by private individuals or the self-employed will be subsidized with 4,000 euros, while if an 'Eco' model is purchased they will receive between 600 and 1,000 euros and between 400 and 800 euros if a car with a label is purchased 'C' (combustion). However, these aid tranches could vary, especially in the case of plug-in hybrid models that have a state premium of 4,000 euros according to the Renove, and 2,600 if the operation accommodates the Moves II. In both cases, delivering an old car in exchange (with more than 10 years or 7 years, respectively). In the case of SMEs, aid is 3,200 euros for the 'Zero', between 500 and 800 euros for the 'Eco' and between 350 and 650 euros for the 'C', while large companies will receive 2,800 euros in the first case, between 450 and 700 in the second and between 300 and 550 euros in the third. To be able to apply for the aid of this plan, the acquired cars may not have a price of more than 35,000 euros (or 45,000 euros if they have a ZERO label from the DGT)
