[AUTO] The Government could approve today the Renove for the purchase of cars

Uncertainty about how to give and receive aid, between 800 and 5,500 euros from June 18, is holding back many operations.

 

 

Presented in earnest two weeks ago, the comprehensive plan to help the automotive industry has one of its foundations in the Renove program, endowed with 250 million and which will benefit from the purchase of a new car with the technology it has (or almost new), giving Another car with at least 10 years old is removed.

It was said then that the aid could be requested immediately, but the plan has not yet been officially approved, which has created great uncertainty in the market. According to the Europa Press agency, this process could be discussed at the Council of Ministers that is being held today.

The truth is that sellers do not know how to apply it and they cannot advance the aid either, which, as EL MUNDO recognized last week, Gerardo Pérez, president of the Faconauto dealers association, has caused many operations to be stopped by buyers at the Waits for premiums and mechanics to be clarified to apply.

These range between 800 and 5,500 euros, including the contribution of the brands. The amount is determined by the level of emissions of the vehicle to be purchased, which must emit less than 120 grams of CO2 per kilometer and have the DGT's C, ECO or ZERO labels; and Idae's A or B for energy efficiency.

Its price cannot exceed 35,000 euros (10,000 more if it is ZERO emissions) and the part of state aid will have to be reflected in next year's personal income tax declaration as a capital gain.

This is also the case of the bonuses contemplated in the Moves II, focused on electrified vehicles and which has already been published in the BOE.

CREATED THE AUTOMOTIVE TABLE
Both sales stimulus programs are part of the automotive industry value chain boost plan, endowed with 3,750 million euros, and which has taken a further step forward with the holding of the first constituent meeting of the called the Automotive Table.

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry, its function is to implement the measures that will develop it, which is why the Ministry of Ecological Transition, the Autonomous Communities, industry associations (including motorcycles) and trade union centers are also part of it.

The meeting, held virtually, was attended by the European Commissioner for the Internal Market, Thierry Breton, who promised "fair rules of the game" for the recovery of the sector in each country. And it is that the recovery funds of the EU will finance many of these plans. At least, Spanish.
