The penultimate copy goes to its future owner in the United States and the last Mulsanne ever built was sold to an anonymous customer. After more than ten years, 7,300 units produced, about 42 million welding points, more than a million hours dedicated to the interior and over 90,000 hours of polishing, Bentley Mulsanne retires in glory leaving the title of flagship for Flying Spur model. The moment was marked at the Crewe plant with several special events and Bentley published some images with the penultimate Mulsanne. It is finished in Rose Gold and Tungsten shades and will go to his new home in the United States of America. As for the very last Mulsanne, the British manufacturer has chosen not to reveal its final destination. However, both are part of the limited edition Mulsanne 6.75 Editon by Mulliner named after the longest-lived V8 engine in history, which was retired in turn. The unit in question started in the '50s and since 1972 has exactly the same configuration and cylindrical capacity of 6.75 liters. Each engine was manually assembled at the Crewe plant and the last iteration takes 15 hours to complete. 3
