BMW has just presented a limited edition of its already special and exclusive 8 Series, which is distinguished by its exclusive decoration brought directly from Olympus from the automotive world. Called the 8 Series Golden Thunder Edition, this version is available in Coupé, Convertible and Gran Coupe formats. Its main feature is that the body is painted in metallic Sapphire Black with contrasting golden accents. In addition, you can mount items brought directly from the BMW Individual department. Among the elements in gold stand out the 20-inch M wheels, rear-view mirror housings, rear spoiler, bumper and side vinyl. Incidentally, all Golden Thunder equip the M Sport package as standard. Inside doors we find seats in Merino black leather with the inscription "Edition Golden Thunder" on the front headboards. You can not miss the golden inserts, as well as Crafted Clarity glass applications on console and doors. The sound system is a Diamond Surround from Bowers & Wilkins. In the mechanical section there is no change. In fact, this special version can be chosen with any version of the 8 Series, from the 840i and 840d xDrive to the BMW M850i xDrive, except of course the M8, which is a separate thing. The BMW 8 Series Golden Thunder Edition will be produced at the Dingolfing, Germany plant starting in September, with no pricing or number of units available yet. 2
