Half of the fourth week of June marks the debut of a new generation of the famous Opel Mokka subcompact SUV, the latest iteration of the car competing against products such as Nissan Juke or Renault Captur being officially unveiled just moments ago. Available for sale just before the end of this summer, it immediately stands out with a bold design at the body with five doors, which borrows various elements from the GT X Experimental concept - presented for the first time in 2018. Regarding the recipe specific to the interior department, the new generation Opel Mokka impresses especially with the configuration with two color displays, one of which is designed to display digital on-board instruments. The small number of physical controls also gives a futuristic look to the subcompact SUV. Designed to rival the Renault Captur and Nissan Juke, the car unveiled on Wednesday is only 4.15 meters long, making it 125 millimeters shorter than before - instead, the wheelbase has increased by 2 mm, while the trunk capacity rises at 350 liters. Under the hood, the latest generation of the famous Opel Mokka subcompact SUV offers a wide range of gasoline and diesel engines, whose technical specifications are completely missing at the moment. Not that it would matter in any way: initially, customers will be able to opt exclusively for a 100% electric version. It mixes a 136 hp and 260 Nm engine with a 50 kWh battery, the car sold under the name Mokka-e promising to cover up to 322 kilometers on a single charge - in normal running mode, according to WLTP rules, it is specified in the press release. The new generation Opel Mokka also features countless top technologies, including a 180-degree rear camera or LED array headlights. Also missing from the menu are the adaptive autopilot, the assistant for recognizing traffic signs, Apple CarPlay / Android Auto applications, etc. 2
