Alberto Rodríguez was lucky to meet great soccer personalities during his stay in Portugal. The defender of Alianza Lima was able to enjoy Portugal for eight years, where he managed to talk with José Mourinho, a well-known coach, who gave him some advice on defense.

The Blue and Whites 'player told Movistar Deportes' Al Ángulo ’program what the famous Portuguese coach told him when the faces could be seen.

 

"We were playing against Tottenham and I was with a very friendly manager of Mourinho. The coach was Jorge Costa, who was central for Porto de José. They called me after training, ”Alberto began.

 

 

"I did not know they had that relationship and what he said to me:" I will tell you clearly. You are a great central but you have to kick. Forwards have to feel you ”.

"You play nice, you're crack but you have to kick," added Mourinho in the conversation with ‘El Mudo’.

"It was what I had left but the truth is that I did not pay much attention to it," he concluded.

 

This conversation took place in 2007, the year in which José Mourinho was at Chelsea in England.

Currently at Alianza Lima, Rodríguez awaits the restart of the championship. Mario Salas, the new Blue and Whites' coach, arrived in Lima a few days ago from Chile and is serving mandatory isolation.
