After days, weeks and even months of mystery, the first Volkswagen Arteon Shooting Brake in history is forced to give up all its aesthetic secrets. To blame for this situation are some external images of the version to be marketed in China, which arrived on the Internet earlier than it should.

The new car, which will arrive in the company's showrooms in the Asian country starting next month, according to the latest rumors and unofficial information, has a length of 4,869 millimeters and comes with a wheelbase of almost 2.85 meters.

 

Under the hood, apparently, customers will be able to choose between two turbo gasoline with four cylinders in line and a capacity of two liters, one of which with 220 hp under the hood. The basic variant, on the other hand, will have to be satisfied with "only" 186 horsepower in the engine compartment - and this despite the 330 TSI inscription displayed on the tailgate.

Regarding the availability of the first Volkswagen Arteon Shooting Brake in Europe, well ... the car will officially debut in about a week, on the occasion of a special event organized on June 24.

What the version sold on the markets on the Old Continent will look like, but also what engines the buyers will have available this time, we will find out next Wednesday. At the same time, we will get acquainted, with a little luck, with the new Arteon Facelift, but also with the much anticipated Arteon R, which will offer a 2.0 turbo gas station with 333 hp in total.
