Sara Carbonero, about life after cancer: "You can't control everything, you have to live in the present!"
The news made the Spaniards very happy. Sarah's Instagram post garnered over 100,000 likes in less than 24 hours.

In the interview, Sara said that she learned that "you can't control everything and that you have to live in the present". Since being diagnosed with cancer, the former sports journalist confesses that the day starts differently.

"When I wake up, I think of at least three things that I have and for which I consider myself privileged," said Sara Carbonero. This is how she remains optimistic, as well as through the meditation exercises she recently discovered.

"I meditate and practice breathing exercises daily. I recommend them, they changed my life. It's good to have that little time with us, to ask ourselves what we want in life, to learn to listen to each other ", the Spaniard explained.

Sara Carbonero, about the joy of life and life in quarantine
In the same interview, Sara Carbonero revealed that her great joy is freedom. "To feel the sand under my feet, the sound of the waves, to see a sunset on the terrace with my friends," she said.

At the same time, Casillas' wife said that she would like to write a book, that it would be a "dream come true". Paradoxically, the quarantine generated by the COVID-19 pandemic was auspicious for her family, strengthening ties between members.

"We had all the time in the world to spend it together. Let's watch movies after dinner, play board games, chess, listen to music ... ", Sara Carbonero also stated.
