That is the main conclusion that emerges from the audience data for matchday 28 in the Santander League. More than 4.5 million viewers were watching some of the 10 games of the return to the competition. In total there were 4,586,693 viewers, half a million more than were counted in these same games of the first round. This represents an increase of 12.63%. The game that brought together the most fans in front of the television was Real Madrid - Eibar, with 851,607 spectators, followed by Mallorca - Barcelona (780,231) and Seville - Real Betis (755,810). The Seville derby was the first match in this return to competition and had an outstanding figure. It garnered 242,000 more spectators than the match played at Villamarín in the first round, the match between Real Sociedad and Osasuna that was broadcast free-to-air through Gol. It had an audience of 618,034 viewers. This match surpassed another of the attractive matches of the day such as Athletic Club - Atlético de Madrid, which stood at 512,813 spectators. 15,471 less than in the first round match. 1
