The amounts include the contribution of the brand, which must be equal to that of the State, except for electric vehicles, which is limited to 1,000 euros.

The Government's comprehensive support plan for the automobile will allocate a total of 3.75 billion from this year and during the following years to strengthen the sector. Of that amount, 250 million will go specifically to a program for the renovation of the park from which individuals, self-employed and companies can benefit. You can buy a new vehicle (tourism or light van) regardless of its technology -diesel, gasoline, hybrid or electric- and the subsidies can be requested from tomorrow, said the Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, during the presentation of the plan

Of course, to qualify for the plan, a car that is at least 10 years old must be sent to the scrap yard. And that the model that is purchased has CO2 emissions of less than 120 grams per kilometer, (155 if it is a van) with energy efficiency labels A or B (granted by Idae and can be found here), and C, Echo or Zero of the DGT.

The vehicle to be purchased may have a maximum price of 35,000 euros in the case of passenger cars, although that figure rises to 45,000 euros for people with reduced mobility or vehicles with a ZERO label.

ALSO USED CARS REGISTERED FROM JANUARY
In addition, the acquisition of registered used vehicles will be allowed from January 1, 2020. That is, the famous km 0. The measure aims to help dealers, who have accumulated up to 200,000 vehicles in stock for the time they have been closed. ; and by the collapse of the market once they have opened.

STATE AID FOR CAR CHANGE

Depending on the level of emissions of the car, the range of official aid for an individual or a self-employed, ranges between 400 euros and 4,000 euros (in the case of a ZERO label model). The brands are obliged to make an additional discount for the same amount, except for the electric, electric models with extended autonomy and 'plug-in' hybrids with more than 40 kilometers of electric autonomy. In this case, the manufacturer will discount only 1,000 extra euros. In other words, any private or autonomous buyer may receive, at most, a subsidy of between 800 and 5,000 euros.

However, the figure can be increased by another 500 euros in three situations: if the scrapping car is over 20 years old; if the buyer has reduced mobility, or if he belongs to a household with a monthly income of less than 1,500 euros.

The plan unveiled this noon also offers aid to SMEs and large companies, although with lower amounts in terms of the state part: between 300 and 3,200 euros.

If it is the purchase of a van, those with up to 2,500 kilos of MMTA will benefit from a discount of between 1,000 and 4,000 euros depending on whether they are labeled C, Eco or Zero. And between 2,100 and 4,000 euros if they have more than 2,500 kilos of MMTA. It would be necessary to add the contribution of the brand and the aid mentioned corresponds to a private individual or a self-employed person.

Finally, of the 250 million from the park renovation fund, 20 million are reserved for heavy trucks and buses that will receive between 2,000 and 4,000 euros.

Likewise, the Government has launched a second edition of the Moves Plan, which will be endowed with 100 million euros and which is intended to promote 100% electric mobility. Weeks ago, the Government itself assured that, with respect to the previous plan with that name, the requirement to deliver an old car in exchange (in order to allow companies to access) would be eliminated. In this case, the aid would be 4,000 euros, and 5,500 euros if a vehicle with at least 10 years was delivered. In the document provided today by the Government, these figures do not appear anywhere. Unless they are regulated by the same scheme used for the renovation plan, with which it is not compatible.
