The arrival of the new Opel Mokka is getting closer. In the signing of the ray they are taking their debut calmly, since the situation in the sector is at least tricky. However, they must keep their attention on the model and therefore, every so often, they publish images that illustrate their progress. The last ones were dedicated to the set-up tests that are being carried out by the brand's engineers.

As is logical, being a prototype, the photographed units are loaded with camouflage. Its density is still high, but we already have data on what its aesthetic code will be like. Of what there was no data was inside, since they have managed to protect it from spy photographers with great zeal. That, until now, which, following its policy of teasers and sketches, give a clue about the configuration that the interior of the new Opel Mokka will have.

The Pure Panel philosophy reaches the interior of the new Opel Mokka

If we take a look at the sketch, we can define the cockpit of the new Mokka with one word: simplicity. This does not have to be bad, because as the saying goes "sometimes, less is more". In fact, its creators define it as pure and precise, in short reduced to the essential. In fact, the house in Rüsselsheim defines this style as "Pure Panel" due to the union of two high-resolution digital displays with which to simplify the cockpit.

Thanks to them, they can remove much of the manual controls. This solution is novel and follows the trend imposed by Peugeot models, but we believe that it is not the most successful. Handling essential elements such as the climate control or the audio system should be easier and more intuitive. The reason is basic: as logical as the menus are, the response is not the same as a physical control, reducing sensitivity.
