Dr.Drako Posted June 6, 2020 Posted June 6, 2020 (edited) Our always restless and knowledgeable Japanese friends of Young Machine, with whom we share great evenings in those Super Test of the Almería circuit, say they have solid rumors that Yamaha would be preparing a motorcycle to pay tribute to the legendary FZ750 of 1985. Our always restless and knowledgeable Japanese friends of Young Machine, with whom we share great evenings in those Super Test of the Almería circuit, say they have solid rumors that Yamaha would be preparing a motorcycle to pay tribute to the legendary FZ750 of 1985. Recall that this motorcycle was a revolution when it was presented 25 years ago, with its 20V engine (5 per cylinder), which yielded 105 HP, and its aggressive 'look' in the style of the Endurance World Championship, a motorcycle that competed successfully in many championships of all kinds. According to Young Machine, the Iwata firm would be preparing a motorcycle, based on the three-cylinder MT-09, with a look and decoration that would remind those of the 1985 FZ750. This bike would have a semi-fairing and a few handlebars above the plate, in an aspect that perhaps reminds more of the FZ600 Fazer than the FZ750 itself ... In any case, it should be called MT-09 Sport or similar, and not FZ9 ... since FZ is reserved for the ‘tetra’ sport, and this would be a three-cylinder. Anyway, we will see if it is something real or just a rumor in the autumn salons ... Edited June 7, 2020 by Dr.Drako Closed Topic / Complete 24 hours. 1
