Mindsphere.
The #prioritatepentrusanatate initiative continues during the alert state. Until June 15, #prioritatepentrusanatate will provide free transportation for chronic patients to and from 37 hospitals in Bucharest (including Ilfov), Iasi, Cluj-Napoca, Timisoara and Brasov. The project is addressed to patients suffering from oncological and hematological diseases, hemophilia, multiple sclerosis or idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and who are forced to continue their treatment in the hospital, during the alert state. The service is only available within these five cities and does not include transport outside the localities. Roche Romania covers the cost of travel, and Uber Romania contributes 25% of their value. To use the service it is necessary to install the Uber application on the phone, then call the call center of the Alliance of Chronic Patients in Romania (APCR): 021 253 0591. The free transport service is only offered to patients who have a treatment schedule, which cannot be postponed or a medical emergency that necessarily requires a trip to the hospital. The full list of hospitals involved, steps for accessing the service, details and other useful information for patients are available on Facebook APCR and on the APCR website. #prioritatepentrusanatate is an initiative of Roche Romania, the Alliance of Patients with Chronic Diseases in Romania (APCR) and Uber.
