Dark Posted May 25, 2020 Posted May 25, 2020 (edited) The Urban Transport Authority for Lima and Callao (ATU) ordered today, through an Executive Presidency Resolution, that the provision of the regular public transport service for people in Lima and Callao be carried out with 100% of the fleet of companies that provide such service. The measure is taken within the framework of the beginning of a new stage of the productive reactivation, where different economic activities have been restarted. As specified, the companies providing the service must comply with the provisions of the guidelines, protocols and sanitary regulations approved by the Ministry of Health (Minsa) and the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC). Among these guidelines it is highlighted that the vehicle must be disinfected before and after its working day; drivers and debt collectors should check your temperature before starting and ending the work day; the use of a mask throughout the day and washing hands with soap and water every time you finish a route. The ATU has arranged that for the provision of the service, the vehicle units are registered in the fleet programming link http://18.191.3.110/transporteUrbano/ until 15:00 hours the day before the date of operation. As recalled, the ATU ordered in mid-March that only 50% of the fleets operate to ensure the mobility of people who, despite the state of emergency due to the COVID-19 pandemic, must continue working.
