Roma announced today the death of his former player Joseph Bouasse, a 21-year-old footballer, due to cardiac arrest. The Cameroonian was waiting at the end of the coronavirus pandemic to debut with his new club, the Cluj of Romania.

"We mourn the death of former youth team player Joseph Bouasse Perfection and hug his loved ones at this very painful time," the Italian team published on its social networks.

Some former teammates of the young footballer, such as defender Antonio Rudiger, also regretted the loss of "my brother, a young talent who has left too soon."

Bouasse arrived in Italy in 2016 as a child, with the word of several people that he would make it to some important academy, but he was deceived and abandoned as soon as he arrived. Despite everything, he managed to find a team and after some good performances, Roma signed him for his youth team. He got to train with his idols, but did not debut in an official match.

Since then, he had tried to carve out a niche for himself in professional football by playing in Serie B's Vicenza, and was now going to debut in the Romanian league.
