YaKuZa--BoSs Posted May 22, 2020 Posted May 22, 2020 (edited) The Sports Arbitration Court considers, like the Competition and Appeals Committee, that there was improper alignment of the yellow branch in the match played in Castalia and the Albinegros maintain the first place The Court of Sports Arbitration (TAD) has ruled this Friday in favor of Castellón in the appeal presented by Villarreal as a result of what happened in the derby disputed between its subsidiary and the Albinegro team in Castalia. The match ended with a victory for Villarreal B, but the Albinegro club appealed to the Competition Committee, considering that the team led by Miguel Álvarez had incurred an improper alignment. Competition agreed with Castellón and awarded him three points. However, Villarreal decided to resort to the Appeal Committee, which dismissed the appeal of the entity chaired by Fernando Roig. Despite this, Villarreal decided to speed up his options and presented a new appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, which has now also ruled in favor of Castellón. In this way, the team led by Óscar Cano has already definitively secured the first position in Group III of Segunda B, which will allow him to contest the 'playoff' promotion to Segunda. If the appeal had prospered, the Albinegro team would have lost three points and would have even been left out of the first four places, so they could not have fought for promotion. The one who is left now without any option to dispute the 'playoff' is Villarreal B. Edited May 24, 2020 by Dr.Drako Closed Topic / Complete 24 hours. 2
