The relief measures announced by the Government for the areas of Spain that continue in phase 0 will have a direct impact on professional football. The Ministerial Health Order published this Saturday in the BOE grants free access to the 42 First and Second clubs to start training in groups starting this Monday. A decision by the Executive of Pedro Sánchez that allows LaLiga to maintain its plan that all the clubs advance in the training phases at the same pace and that allows to maintain the hope that the competition will resume on June 12, the wish of Javier Tebas .

The permanence in phase 0 of Madrid, Barcelona and the main urban areas of Castilla y León forced a priori the 12 professional clubs of those demarcations (including Barça, Madrid and Atlético) to continue for at least one more week, carrying out only individual training sessions. . The other 30 clubs are already in phase 1, so they could go on to do it in groups, which would have caused a forced comparative grievance facing the return to competition.

However, the Government has decided to include soccer among the relief measures for phase 0 zones. Thus, and in practice, the 42 First and Second clubs are already in phase 1, although their communities or areas sanitary not yet.

MAXIMUM OF 10 FOOTBALL PLAYERS
In compliance with their own protocol, clubs will be able to schedule training in groups of a maximum of 10 players from Monday. This protocol also included the need for players and coaches to focus on their sports city or hotel as soon as these training sessions began, although the good results of the PCR tests (only 5 positives between First and Second) and the frontal opposition of the footballers made LaLiga change its mind.

In short, starting Monday, the players will train in groups, but they will continue sleeping in their homes.
