Dr.Drako Posted May 15, 2020 Posted May 15, 2020 (edited) We met her as RMK Vehicles, a Finnish-born star-up who has now been renamed Verge Motorcycles. We were surprised with its advanced ES electric, but especially for its rear wheel with perimeter traction. The E2 has been renamed TS and is ready to go into production, and can be ordered by leaving a down payment of € 2,000 that will be subtracted from the final price, which is € 24,990. It is not, therefore, a cheap motorcycle, but the fact that it is an almost exclusive product, with quality components and good benefits partly justifies its high price. In fact, you will have to fight with bikes of the Harley LiveWire level, for example. Good performance The engine is declared no less than 109 hp (80 kW) of power and a brutal torque of 1,000 Nm, which must provide you with a few best recoveries and acceleration, with 180 km / h of declared maximum speed. According to Verge Motorcycles, the autonomy will be 200 km on the highway and 300 km in the city, charging the batteries in 4 hours with slow charge and in 40-45 minutes with the fast charger. The chassis is aluminum and has been designed and built in-house, the suspensions are Öhlins and the front brake is Brembo. As it lacks a rear hub there is no brake on the rear axle either, and the braking of this axle corresponds to the motor itself, operated with a handlebar lever. Both brakes are therefore controlled by hand. There are two sets of footrests, some very advanced and others much further back. Verge's idea is that they serve both driver and passenger and that the first can adopt a relaxed or sporty driving position if you travel alone. Verge Motorcycles intends to make the first TS deliveries later this year. Edited May 16, 2020 by Dr.Drako Closed Topic / Complete 24 hours. 2
