Dark Posted May 15, 2020 Posted May 15, 2020 (edited) In the face of the pandemic due to the new coronavirus COVID-19, the Government has taken strict measures such as social immobilization, compulsory isolation, the use of masks, the minimum distance of one meter, among other regulations, to prevent the spread of the virus. All Peruvians are supporting the rules to get out of this situation successfully: some from home and others from their work centers in companies that cover basic needs. The health sector is one of the ones that works the most since the pandemic reached Peru. Thousands of hospitals around the country are constantly working to attend to emergency cases and, above all, those involving patients suffering from COVID-19. One of the most important points in this case involves transportation, both for medical personnel and to mobilize the necessary material in hospitals. Given this need, Maquinarias S.A., a Peruvian company with more than 65 years in the automotive sector, has delivered Pick Ups units at the disposal of the Ministry of Health (MINSA), in order to support the fight against the virus. “During all these years, Peru has provided us with great opportunities and, in turn, set ourselves great challenges, without which Machinery would not be what it is today. It is now when we have to collaborate with Peru, ”says its director. Thanks to this action, the health sector will be able to continue with its work of caring for the sick and prevention in a more complete way. "We have gone through very hard times as Peruvians and as a company, but this is nothing more than a challenge that together we will manage to overcome as we have always done, this will not stop us," he adds.
