Hundreds of companies will resume their activity this Monday, May 11, as reported by the Ministry of Production. As reported by the Minister of Production, Rocío Barrios, 208 Peruvian companies are, as of Monday, May 11, "in a position to provide their services." What sector are these companies from? For the moment, the companies that return to activity after the quarantine period belong to the textile and clothing sector, the e-commerce sector and the restaurant sector, in which it also specified that up to 77 restaurant companies have received the approval to resume their work, something that will affect more than 500 workers. "There are currently some 220,000 restaurants in Peru. Of those, these first few weeks it is proposed to enable an average of around 2,500 restaurants for Metropolitan Lima alone.
