A Paraguayan judge has granted house arrest to former Brazilian soccer player Ronaldinho, who must follow his process from a hotel in Asunción. The soccer star was arrested, along with his brother, for entering the country with an adulterated Paraguayan passport.
The former international for Brazil served a month in prison on Monday, located in the headquarters of the Specialized Police Group. The Brazilians' attorneys presented guarantees worth $ 1,600,000 for both. The De Assis Moreira brothers alleged that the documents were given to them as a present by the businesswoman who invited them to travel to Paraguay, Dalia López Troche, head of the humanitarian foundation, until now a fugitive. For the cause, 14 other people were charged and forced the resignation of the director of Migrations.

The tax investigation seeks to determine in which context the falsified documents were issued and what was the purpose of their use in Paraguay, both having processed their own Brazilian documentation.
