The financial crisis of the cream club was aggravated by the suspension of the tournament and this led to that drastic decision.

 

 

“We have had two negotiations: one with workers (administrative staff, operator) through the club workers union with whom we agreed to make a reduction of 50% of their salary to all those who earn above the two thousand soles ”, said the bankruptcy administrator in the“ Al Juliana Style ”program.

 

 

“In parallel we have had a conversation with the team of players and the reserve team through their representatives and unfortunately we have not been able to reach an agreement. In this situation, we have no choice but to resort to the measures established by law, including the perfect suspension of work for the team of players, "he said.

 

Moreno clarified that the measure taken in no way breaks the employment relationship between the club and the footballers. "The perfect suspension does not break the employment relationship, what it does is suspend the fulfillment of the obligations of both them and the club for a certain time."

 

Also, the administrator said he regrets that the players have not understood the precarious financial situation of the club.

"We expected the understanding of the squad of players because the club, for a long time, is going through a great economic crisis, but with this pandemic and the suspension of the tournament it has been absolutely aggravated," said Moreno.
