Corona Virus: Curfew in Tunisia and registration of new infections

On March 18, 2020, President Qais Saeed announced at a symposium: implementing this ban to limit the spread of the new Coronavirus (COVID-19), and mandating the military to patrol the streets to ensure its implementation.
The Tunisian president called on citizens to donate to get out of the crisis, and announced the rescheduling of debts for those affected by their economic activities.
The Ministry of Health announced today, on March 20, 2020, in a press conference that 15 new cases of emerging coronavirus were registered, bringing the number of cases registered in Tunisia to 54.
As Nassef Bin Alia, director of the National Observatory of New and New Diseases, announced that the number of coronavirus infections has risen to 54, including 36 imported and 18 local.
The average age of the injured is 43 years, 50% of whom are male and 50% female. On the nationalities, == = 40 of them are Tunisians and 10 are foreigners.
She added that since the virus appeared in Tunisia, 11,000 people have been subjected to self-quarantine, and more than 7,500 of them are still quarantined.
And in another press conference
Shoukry Hammouda, Director General of Health Care at the Ministry of Health, said that Tunisia has entered an upward stage because of the lack of commitment of the people subject to quarantine and the leakage of the virus into society.
"After the complete closure of the Tunisian border and the flow of stranded Tunisians, we will arrive after 3 weeks, we will reach the maximum stage in the number of victims," Shokri Hammouda added.
